  • Upcoming Show:

What’s Around Me is an exploratory art project that marks a metaphysical transformation when ordinary, recognizable objects are preserved within a new fibrous skin. Once wrapped in gold thread, the typically unnoticed become precious and distinct although in a subtle, quiet way. Returned to where they were found, left exposed to the elements, these precious objects continue to change as they will undoubtedly begin to fade and break down over time. They become fragile, sensual works removed from and yet affirming the familiar realm of the everyday.
